The line begins at the mcgill campus. It's a lot shorter than you'd think. You may think it takes longer than five minutes, but it's actually less.
Just one minute of walking, you will walk from my office on the 4th floor, to the courtyard and back to my office.
If that's too much to bear, you can just stand for the 2nd and 3rd hour.
You will arrive at my office at 8:30 a.m.
You will be directed to the building manager's office (at the front of the building) and asked to sign in.
In exchange for my sign-in card, I have to tell you that your space is available. This is to ensure that everyone at the meeting will actually see what the project is, not just some people who may have heard the plan and will see the presentation or reading. My space is for anyone who actually wants to meet with the project.
You have one hour to take in the project, to explain the rationale and to be on your own for the first 30 minutes. Then you must answer questions to hear the project, and you'll do that by speaking directly with the team responsible for it.
You will need to sign in and register on a separate day with that team. The following Friday, you will have your own day off.
If you're new to meeting planning, you may want to consider a first week to first project at our office, at least, at the beginning.
Here is a list of what a project meeting is. I suggest that you join us, for the first day, for an "Introduction to Building Management and Project Management" by the project manager and the project team. We will help you understand what you need to be talking about, before you get started.
1. Why would anyone choose the 4th floor as the meeting place?
There is one reason it would make sense to have this meeting place. It has the opportunity to have one of the most important meetings in the area. People need to get to know each other, to share their experiences and ideas. They need a place in which to have that same meeting, and to listen to each other.
The 4th floor has a great combination of public spaces: It is the site of the library, it is a good place for picnics. In addition, there are many other locations in the area where meeting places are.
2. Is a space available or are you already booked?
A space is available in case of emergency (eg: a tornado), but we are happy to offer it up for anyone interested in joining. A meeting will take place only a few minutes away from our location

The Red Cross has released an additional update which reveals that the number of evacuated people is now over 14,000. It has also confirmed that a number of homes will not receive water while supplies are still available for residents who have already evacuated. Federal authorities have ordered a second evacuation in the Florida Keys after Hurricane Irma hit last week. An additional 14,000 citizens and residents are also under FEMA orders to evacuate if needed, the Federal Emergency Management Agency said Saturday. The Florida Department of Health and Human Services and Florida Fish & Wildlife said Wednesday that a total of 14,300 have been evacuated from several Florida islands after Irma. Those affected include more than 30 communities along the Florida mainland. Those evacuating include the two municipalities of St. Augustine and Tampa.
